Charles Henry Grosvenor (CHG) was an attorney, a general in the Union Army during the Civil War, and a United States Congress representative for 20 years. CHG grew up in Athens, Ohio. He was responsible for persuading Andrew Carnegie to provide funds for a library at Ohio University. Constance Leete (CL) is his granddaughter through his second wife Louise Currier.
